Finding your balance

It has always been an aspiration of mine to be a phytophile and I decided that at the inception of this year I would pursue that desire on a deeper level. This pursuit is not only because of my love for plant life but also to unlock my more nurturing side even more and revive my green thumb before I begin the process of enhancing my kitchen space with its own small in-kitchen garden. My first official plant was Amethyst who was a Pink Spot Begonia but she suffered an untimely demise some months ago. However, I developed some plant care knowledge in that period of time and started over with three new plant babies, Cole who is a Coleus plant, Kalan who is a Kalanchoe and Chrystal who is a Chrysanthemum. Being a plant and animal nurturer has evolved my appreciation for the more delicate side of my masculinity. It has improved my discipline and attention to detail and it has purified not just the air around me but also my mind by being a worthy distraction from all negative noises and unwanted temptations that life can expose you to sometimes. It has peaked my euphoria because it brings me such great excitement when I spot any form of progression in my babies. When I say that I am in my soft life era, I truly mean it as I prioritize my peace above all these days and focus my energy on maintaining my comfort and sanity.
